Heritage Alpacas of Virginia

Champion bloodlines. Soft fleeces. Soft hearts.

Where Heritage Meets Heart

Tucked into the rolling hills of Haymarket, Virginia, Frazer's Stable is home to a small, carefully-curated herd of Huacaya alpacas. Founded by Frazer Hendrick, a thoroughbred horse breeder of more than three decades, our farm brings the same eye for bloodlines, conformation, and meticulous care to the alpacas we raise.

Our herd traces back to two of the country's most respected color programs — Kuska Paku Farm's harlequin and silver grey lines, and Rare Gem Alpacas' appaloosa Apache bloodline. Every animal is registered, well-handled, and raised on expansive Virginia pastures with regular veterinary care.

They may not win the Kentucky Derby, but they'll absolutely win your heart.

Our Story

From Thoroughbreds to Alpacas

After more than 30 years breeding champion thoroughbreds, Frazer Hendrick brought her eye for excellence to alpacas seven years ago. The result is a small, carefully-bred herd built around two of the country's most respected color programs and raised with the same care that produces champion horses.
